My Story
About Fabled Framing
I made myself a trading card frame in 2019 for some of my Magic the Gathering cards. In June 2020 once I finished university I started selling a few of them on Etsy. Since then I refined the product to where it is today. Below you can see some of the stories along the way.

The First Frame
This was the first frame I made back in 2019 for my Magic the Gathering pre-release promos.

Starting Out
My custom made mount cutter which I used for the first two years.

First Large Frame
This was my first time cutting a frame larger than 25 cards. As can be seen from the light, it was a bit of a mission!

Cutting woood
Originally I cut wood on the table saw at my parents house.

First machine
My first dedicated framing machine was an underpinner. This is used to join the corners with V shaped nails.

Every framers favourite machine
I started cutting with a Morso mitre guillotine at the end of 2020. This is still at top performance today.

New wood
In 2021 I started using the bevelled black hardwood which is still used today.

The biggest milestone in production
After hundreds of thousands of individual manual cuts I decided to give my back a break. This computerised machine changed everything!

Slabs slabs slabs!
After briefly selling slab frames in 2022 I started fully supporting them again in 2024.

A busy year!
A lot of packages out the door this year!

Website Launch
I had a website running in the background for a while but properly launched this in 2026.
